Rumors surrounding a Drake and Nike Air Force 1 collaboration have been floating around since June 2020, when the Toronto rapper was spotted rocking the classic B-ball sneaker on a regular basis last year.
Clean and simple: As with many of Drake’s releases, very few changes have been made to the beloved Air Force 1 silhouette. The sneaker retains the iconic triple white colorway but with luxurious tumbled leather uppers.
Gone is the Air text on the midsole and in its place is the embossed text “Love You Forever” — a reference to the album. In keeping with theme, the star traction pattern on the outsole of most retro AF1s has been replaced with tiny hearts.
The Air Force 1 will likely arrive with the socks and caps that were leaked in August 2020.
