The SB Dunk gets the 2003 Atmos’ Air Max 1 colorway

Nike’s SB Dunk Low Pro Clear Jade borrows its colorway from the legendary Elephant Print Air Max 1. The sneaker drops on November 11.

Nike’s latest SB Dunk references the brand’s most treasured sneaker – the Atmos’ Air Max 1 “Elephant Print” that first released in 2003. Just like the Air Max, the Dunk Low Pro Clear Jade will get a mix of grey elephant print leather and jade accents.

In a near-identical fashion, the Dunk gets a black base with grey elephant leather overlays around the midfoot, toe box and heel tab. Contrasting the black and grey is a white toe box, jade Nike branding on the tongue and heel and a jade Swoosh. Other hits of jade appear on the outsole branding and insole print.

Atmos’ Air Max 1 is by far one of Nike’s most desirable releases. Back in 2016, its desirability was confirmed when fans voted for Nike to bring back the Air Max 1 “Elephant Print” as a part of the 2017 Air Max Day celebration. As a result, Nike gave the sneaker a limited run retro release.

By applying such a coveted colorway onto their most popular silhouette in 2020, Nike could have a grail on their hands. With rumors hinting at a limited release, we can expect the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Clear Jade to sell out fast.
