Nike’s latest SB Dunk references the brand’s most treasured sneaker – the Atmos’ Air Max 1 “Elephant Print” that first released in 2003. Just like the Air Max, the Dunk Low ProClear Jade will get a mix of grey elephant print leather and jade accents.
In a near-identical fashion, the Dunk gets a black base with grey elephant leather overlays around the midfoot, toe box and heel tab. Contrasting the black and grey is a white toe box, jade Nike branding on the tongue and heel and a jade Swoosh. Other hits of jade appear on the outsole branding and insole print.
Atmos’ Air Max 1 is by far one of Nike’s most desirable releases. Back in 2016, its desirability was confirmed when fans voted for Nike to bring back the Air Max 1 “Elephant Print” as a part of the 2017 Air Max Day celebration. As a result, Nike gave the sneaker a limited run retro release.
By applying such a coveted colorway onto their most popular silhouette in 2020, Nike could have a grail on their hands. With rumors hinting at a limited release, we can expect the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Clear Jade to sell out fast.
