The Japanese watch brand has cemented itself as a cultural icon that connects creators in the pursuit of art, music, style, and sport. From the music, the performances, right down to the energy reverberating throughout Canvas club – there was no doubt the party delivered on all fronts.
While Singapore’s hottest hip-hop talents stole the night with their music at the G-SHOCK ORIGINS TRANSMISSION party, people were also treated to art in its rawest form, with Singapore artist and ORIGINS family member, Clogtwo, pulling out the spray cans to create a beautiful G-SHOCK themed mural. Where it came to style, everyone definitely came through in their best outfits.
Check out all the highlights from Singapore’s hottest hip-hop night to date.
If you’re pulling up to a hip-hop party, you better know how to pull up in style. No doubt there were fire fits all around.
A healthy dose of hip-hop music and incredible performances filled Canvas that night. If you weren’t there – well, too bad.
Aside from performing an impressive set alongside Fariz Jabba, Yung Raja showcased a talent for getting the crowd up on their feet from start to finish. Let’s just say that we’re looking at a bright future ahead for the young rapper. As long as he’s up on stage with a mic, he’s got everyone’s attention.
It was raining freebies hourly. Four lucky party-goers walked away with the golden ticket, which entitled them to a free G-SHOCK DW-5600 watch.
The night’s stellar lineup featuring Axel Brizzy, Fariz Jabba, Yung Raja, Mean, Wheelsmith, and DJs Prav and XG, didn’t disappoint. The crowd-pumping performances came to a fever pitch when Yung Raja snuck in a surprise performance of his debut single, Mustafa. Surely one of our favorite moments that night.
Clogtwo’s mural was the backdrop of choice for those who wanted something to remember the TRANSMISSION party by.
