Adidas Courts Giannis Antetokounmpo with a Truckload of Yeezys

Giannis Antetokounmpo is floored by the truckload of Yeezys and other athletic gear Adidas sent his way.

A video of rising NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo receiving a truckload of Adidas supplies, including a ton of Yeezys, is making headlines across the Internet.

The video was released as an Instagram story that was posted on Antetokounmpo’s account @giannis_an34 on September 20.

In the video, the athlete is seen receiving a generous share of Adidas supplies including Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and Stan Smith footwear.

Around the 30-second mark, Antetokounmpo, looking elated, exclaims, “Yeezys, my first pair of Yeezys right here!”

Adidas probably got the idea from Antetokounmpo’s “Get me some Yeezys” comment on an Instagram post by Milwaukee Bucks’ Thon Maker.

Nike, too, had attempted to court Antetokounmpo, but according to ESPN reporter Nick Metallinos, Antetokounmpo expressed more interest in an Adidas deal.

Now, with the truckload of Yeezys delivered to his doorstep, it looks like Adidas has Antetokounmpo in the bag.
