The Louis Vuitton Pop-Up Store will be located at Surrender store from April 22 to May 7.
The selection includes leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories, as well as limited and exclusive items offered only in the pop-up.
On that note, not all the items in the photos accompanying this article will be available at the Singapore pop-up. Louis Vuitton Singapore told Straatosphere that updates on the availability of specific items will be announced at a later date.
The Louis Vuitton capsule collection is designed in collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of Fragment Design, for the Autumn-Winter 2017 men’s pre-collection.
“Hiroshi Fujiwara is an influencer in the truest sense of the work – he is a true icon of mine,” says Kim Jones, the Men’s Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton. “With this collaboration, I wanted to do something quite unexpected, something perhaps more youthful than we usually do. Hiroshi has that understanding of detail that comes from Japanese – he simply knows everything.”
The collection is inspired by the fictitious music band “Louis V and The Fragments” created by Fujiwara and Louis Vuitton, and features key elements of Fragment Design including preppy motifs and fresh, bold embroidery and prints. Pop culture, graphic motifs, the history of sportswear, and a passion for menswear design icons shared by Fujiwara and Jones have a hand in influencing the capsule collection.
