Go grey all day with the New Balance 1300JP

New Balance is bringing back the 1300JP in all its grey suede glory.

The New Balance 1300JP is everything the brand stands for – excellent craftsmanship using the finest materials with superior cushioning and superior stability.

Dad shoes may be very in trend, but there is a reason that everyone has fallen in love with them. They are practical, easy to wear and comfortable. Now, if you inject a touch of refinement and a whole lot of grey suede into a dad shoe, you will get the New Balance 1300JP.

The New Balance 1300JP was one of the first sneakers to break the $100 price barrier. But that didn’t stop it from becoming one of the most popular sneakers in Japan. Japanese sneakerheads appreciate its versatility – its grey suede uppers and refined construction means it looks good with a suit but its silhouette is relaxed enough to be worn with jeans or shorts.

The incorporation of Encap technology also gives the shoes both comfort and stability, so you can rock these sneakers all day with minimal fatigue. Fans have described the cushioning as the “shoe version of a luxury car” – both are carefully made by hand with price tags that match their level of comfort.

For the 2020 reissue, the sneaker gets some important updates. The 1300JP will now bear a color combination and stitch work that more closely resembles the original sneaker released in 1985. On top of that, the nubuck uppers are now made from Horween leather so it will look and feel better, all the way down to the stitching.

You can grab the limited edition, made-in-USA sneaker for S$399 at New Balance Paragon, Limited Edt Vault 313@Somerset, Leftfoot, Dover Street Market and newbalance.com.sg from February 22.
