Nike revives a Halloween tradition with the SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief”

Nike SB used to release Halloween-themed sneakers during their peak in the early 2000s.

The SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief” is a revival of that tradition – here is how you can cop a pair.

When Nike SB was at its peak, we would expect a new Halloween-themed SB Dunk every year. These included grails like the SB Dunk Low Premium “Day of The Dead” and the SB Dunk Low “Freddy Krueger”. The new Nike SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief” pays homage to this tradition from its heyday with a colorful and playful design – very different from the sneakers dropped in the early 2000s.

SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief” sneaker’s black suede base is livened up with bright purple, green and orange detailing. To really play into the spooky mood, the pumpkin orange leather toe box is decorated with perforations that form a Jack-O-Lantern smile. The same orange leather is used for the swooshes on the lateral sides of the sneaker.

To contrast the orange details, the sneaker comes with purple laces and sock liners, and a matching spider web stitched into the medial panels of the sneaker. Rounding out the Halloween theme, the sneaker also has lime green accents that include a “trick” or “treat” heel tabs and outsoles. Special Nike SB logos can be found on the tongue and insole, which is printed with an image of pumpkin guts.
