Two days ago, @artofavisionary posted a photo of the shoe on Instagram with the caption: “So ‘FOG’ x Nike is now an official collab! I created this concept 5 months ago & it was received well! Who would actually like a pair of these? ?”
@artofavisionary is alluding to when Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo came out in December last year to confirm the collaboration between Nike and FOG.
What remains up in the air, however, is the sneaker silhouette the collaboration will utilize. According to Hot New Hip Hop, the collab shoe may be a Nike Air Presto.
Around the same time last year, Lorenzo also dropped some obvious hints that Fear of God has its eye on Nike next. In a reply to a fan who posted on his Instagram, he wrote: “no more vans. swoosh for ’18.”
Nike, of course, remains tight-lipped, so that’s about all we know for now. But if you’re wondering about an FOG Vans restock in 2018, the answer is probably “not happening”.
