Homegrown streetwear labels will be bringing their A-game to Sole Superior 2016, happening November 12th. Check out the five labels that are on our radar.
The guys from Suave Clothing Co. have been a constant presence at each edition of Sole Superior, and this year is no exception. This year, Suave Clothing Co. will be selling plenty of quality streetwear threads for you, bae, and the kids (motorbike helmets not included).
Straat Your Stuff alumni Janz Abdullah, known for his insane Nike SB Pigeon collection, will be selling a whole bunch of apparel from his self-named streetwear label. Visit his booth to cop the limited edition event-exclusive t-shirt that he’s produced (only 30 pieces are available) and check out all the other box logo camo tees he’ll be putting up for sale at Sole Superior 2016.
While much of today’s streetwear scene is occupied by loud branding and larger-than-life characters, DBL STD (“Double Standard”) has chosen to keep its creations simple and to-the-point. In fact, its designs are reputed to be snapped up real quick, so you better keep an eye on that special capsule collection that they’ll be unveiling at Sole Superior 2016.
PRAS has made a name for itself producing handcrafted products that go the distance. Our PRAS hankie from Sole Superior 2013 has stood the test of time (absorbing buckets of sweat from staking out at sneaker releases). Not much has been revealed so far, but the founder of PRAS assures us that visitors to his booth will have plenty to talk about when they see what’s up his sleeves.
A new name at Sole Superior 2016, HOBOSNOBIETY will be hoping to capture some of the spotlight as it debuts its first capsule collection. Part of its lineup includes the Coco Snapback, a tongue-in-cheek spinoff of Chanel’s iconic logo. Pre-orders will be available exclusively at the event, so remember to head there if you’re game for some new streetwear pieces.
