A total of 12 colorways are set to release as part of the next Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog drop, of which six will be brand new. The drop will also include the restock of six colorways, including one called Spackle, which was exclusively for friends and family. Other familiar colorways include Crocodile, Stratus, Urchin, Cucumber, and Menemsha.
Salehe Bembury doesn’t introduce any new changes to the tried-and-tested silhouette. The design is modeled after Salehe Bembury’s fingerprint and offers a very organic-looking spin on the classic Croc clog. This has remained unchanged since the very first release.
The first and second drops sold out in seconds, with pairs reselling on the secondary market for triple the retail price. Earlier colorways of the collaboration, like Cucumber and Menemsha are currently reselling for S$500 a pair.
Salehe Bembury’s is the designer of the moment and all his collaborations help build hype around long-forgotten sneakers. We can see his impact with his successful collaborations based on the New Balance 2002R, trail-ready New Balance 574 ‘Yurt,’ and now, the Crocs clogs.
