Vetements gets more meta with the Vetements x Hanes “Official Fake” collection.
The new, minimalist collection features simple designs in both black and white variants, including the coveted Vetements’ “T-Shirt” tee (Hanes Edition Entry Level T-Shirt) and the tour inspired “Staff” and “Securite” shirts.
According to City of Hype, the “Official Fake” Collection kicked off with the now sold out “Definition-Print Raincoat”. Check out the slideshow below for pictures of the full collection and their respective prices:
In December last year, Straatosphere reported that Vetements would be producing tour inspired merchandise and the collaboration with Hanes seems to be a continuation of that trend.
With the rise in popularity of (vintage) band tees, tour inspired merch, or indeed actual tour merch, has become particularly trendy. So trendy, in fact, that stars such as Kanye West and Justin Bieber can sell out their tour merch without actually touring a country.
