Yeezy Season 6: No Fashion Show, No Problem. There’s Kim Kardashian.

Yeezy Season 6 has dropped – and all without the need for a live runway presentation.

The Yeezy Season 6 collection did not have a fashion show, unlike previous seasons.

Kanye West probably learned a thing or two from Adidas’ influencer marketing methods to showcase the Yeezy Season 6 collection.

Two years ago, Adidas rapidly gained traction with their then-new UltraBOOST footwear simply by getting Kanye to slip his feet into them, walk the streets and rock them at his concert. The rest, as they say, is history.

This year, to showcase the all-new Yeezy Season 6, Kanye turned the tables and sought the help of his influential wife, Kim Kardashian.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, Kim has been spotted going about her daily life all decked in apparel from the latest Yeezy collection. Of course, with the hoard of paparazzi constantly wanting in on their lives, Kim turned every mundane day into a runway showcase.

Three of our favorite looks from the 16 piece collection seen on Kim so far

1) Look 7

Look 7
Yeezy 500 Dessert Rat

Look 7 stands out in particular for its inclusion of the Yeezy 500 Desert Rat. Look 7 is available for both men and women; it comprises the “core” colored sweat shorts (US$240; approx. S$323) and hoodie (US$320; approx. S$432).

To acquire the sneakers (US$200; approx. S$269) though, you’ll have to cart the entire look as a bundle. That might just cost you a little over S$1,000 in total.

2) Look 13

Look 13 is a patchwork of various colors that somehow work when put together. The skin-hugging “Gravel” bra top (approx. S$243), “Ghost” knit bike shorts (approx. S$560) and “Military Light” ankle boot heels (approx. S$965) get paired with an oversized flannel lined canvas jacket (approx. S$1321). The fit is sexy, but just how warm it’ll keep its wearer is probably subjective.

3) Look 14

A simple look goes a long way with look 14. Just two pieces headline this classy look: the “Trench” crewneck dress (approx. S$675) and the “Military Light” scuba heel (approx. S$910)

Yeezy Season 6 consists of 16 full looks featuring knit string bras, uniform pants and ankle boot heels, among other items, all in a palette of neutral tones. View the lookbook and shop the collection on Yeezy Supply.
