5 Tracks for This Week’s Grind: Kolaj, Kwamie Liv, Nao and More

Get your weekly dose of new tracks right here. This week’s picks include music from Danish sweetheart Kwamie Liv, the sultry Nao, pop duo Kolaj and more.

1. Kolaj & Eric Nam, “Into You”

Dance-pop duo Kolaj has enlisted the assistance of R&B singer Eric Nam for their latest track. His breathy vocals are a perfect fit for the sax house melody, making this a perfect summer jam for the beach or a party.

2. Klyde, “S.O.M”

The hours spent scouring the Internet for new tunes pay off so well, especially when you find gems like this. Not much is known about Klyde, the low-key dude who has only a couple hundred of hits on this track. Even a Google search turned up nothing related. But with this chill beat, we sure as hell would like to find out more, so we’re keeping him on our radar, as should you.

3. Nao, “In The Morning”

We’ve taken a massive liking to Nao over the past year, even though her trembling vocals might not suit everyone’s taste. But it’s precisely her unique voice that draws us in and makes this down-tempo track stand out, especially when paired with the heartbreaking lyrics.

4. Kwamie Liv, “Perfect Grace”

Now this is the Danish girl that has captured our attention. Kwamie Liv has mastered the art of soul-pop without coming across as gimmicky, and this track is a perfect blend of slow crooning mixed perfectly with strong yet simple instrumentation. The music video plays out in the car backseat, with Kwamie clearly not thrilled about the baes that come along for the ride.

5. Glasses, “Close to You”

French producers really do know their stuff. This track is vibes on vibes, with an electro groove floating against sift synths and a clear slap bass. If there’s a song that’s a straight ticket to the heavenly realm, this could be it. J’adore!
