The Carhartt x Converse One Star is a shoe for any weather, available in stores from today

The Carhartt x Converse One Star is made of the durable material Cordura nylon.

In keeping with Carhartt’s workwear theme, the upper of the Converse One Star gets a premium makeover, resulting in a more durable iteration of the shoe.

News about Carhartt seems to keep ringing in our ears. It was just in July that we reported on their Nike AF1 collab, and now the well-loved workwear brand takes on Converse and the One Star silhouette as they partner up to release the sneaker in three colorways.

Seemingly a simple sneaker from afar, this collaboration has quite a number of details up close. You’ll find Carhartt branding on the insoles and tongue of the shoes. The tag on the tongue bears the words “Carhartt WIP” in its iconic font and as well as a “313” area code (a shoutout to the brand’s roots in Detroit). There is a spec number of the same area code on the shoe on the medial side of the midsoles. The signature Cordura tag is placed next to the aforementioned Carhartt WIP tag and is semi-concealed by the ankle collar. Found on the heel tab is a metal D-ring.

The Carhartt x Converse One Star drops September 20. The collaboration can be purchased at Limited Edt Vault and Chamber at Marina Bay Sands. The launch at Chamber is for members’ reservation only. The shoe retails at S$169.
