1) Adidas Ultraboost 4.0
The latest Ultraboost gets a red and black knit upper and a bright red outsole to boot. This iteration also celebrates the festive season with Chinese symbols on the tongue along with camo patterns on the laces and inside of the shoe.
2) Adidas EQT Support ADV 91/16
The red Chinese motifs give this predominantly-white Adidas EQT Support ADV 91/16 shoe a pop of color. In addition to a gray heel counter, the lace tips and Chinese symbols on the insole also receives a splash of metallic gold color.
3) Adidas NMD R2
The Chinese New Year NMDs will come dressed in a white knit upper along with red graphic symbols on its heel. The symbols found on the shoe, however, do not quite match the occasion, an issue which we covered in this article previously.
4) Nike Air Max 90
Murdered out in black, the sneaker also gets paisley detailing all around. Nike’s swoosh branding receives an auspicious touch of red which can be seen on the tongue, side panels, and heel counter.
5) Nike Air Jordan 6
The Air Jordan 6 is decked out in black, and further enhanced with floral detailing and subtle designs resembling fireworks to mark the festivities. Gold accents also appear on the sneaker along with a red insole – colors that symbolize good luck and prosperity.
6) Nike SF Air Force 1 Mid
The Chinese New Year SF Air Force 1 Mids feature firework-like graphics on the translucent rubber soles of the shoes. The shoe tongues also feature an embroidered firework-like motif. The rest of the shoe comes in an all-white colorway: white leather and mesh, a white midsole, and the iconic Special Field tightening strap in white.
