Celebrate this year’s FIFA World Cup 2018 season in style with football gear inspired releases from Gosha Rubchinskiy, Louis Vuitton, adidas, Nike, and more.

In preparation of the FIFA World Cup 2018, fashion brands all over the world are releasing exclusive collections that it’s almost hard keeping up with all of them. This year, the collections are hitting us from fashion houses like Gosha Rubchinskiy and Louis Vuitton, on top of releases from household sportswear brand names like adidas, Nike, and Umbro.

Gosha Rubchinskiy adidas Football World Cup 2018 collection

Gosha Rubchinskiy collaborates with adidas Football to release a World Cup 2018 fashion collection of its own, celebrating the fact that the designer’s country is hosting the tournament for the very first time.

Representing Team Russia, pieces in the collection bear the colors of the Russian flag, and the names of the three key cities that will play host to the international football event.

The Gosha Rubchinskiy adidas Football World Cup kit will be released only on June 14, the same day the World Cup 2018 kicks off.

What we’d cop: Jerseys from each city pack, and the football in Gosha Rubchinskiy colorway, just for kicks!

Kith adidas World Cup 2018 collection

Ronnie Fieg has taken to Instagram to tease us with his KITH adidas Football World Cup 2018 fashion collection – his third collaboration with adidas so far.

Repping USA, pieces from the collection feature splashes of red, white, blue, gold. The pack consists of a USA stars and stripes and track jacket, a full gold jersey kit, and a pair of UltraBOOST sneakers boasting red, white, and blue stripes, and a scarf to top it all off.

Details of the KITH adidas Football World Cup 2018 are still unreleased, so stay tuned for updates.

What we’d cop: The complete full white tracksuit and the red track jacket for rotation (after all, the World Cup is a month long).

Kim Jones Nike World Cup 2018 Collection

This year, Kim Jones has jumped on the bandwagon and designed a World Cup 2018 collection. The collection sees retro and traditional pieces being reworked into new cuts, mainly inspired by the London punk style circa ’70s and ’80s.

“I was inspired by the idea of DIY of the time – cutting up and putting things back together – to create something new,” said Jones of the collection.

The sneakers of the collection are worth paying special attention to: the designer combines elements of the iconic Mercurial football boot along with three of his favourite Nike shoes: the Footscape, the Vandal, and the Air Max 97. The resulting sneaker, delivered in monochrome colorways, is utterly sleek and hardly short on style.

The collection was released on June 7 at select global retailers and online at Nike.com.

What we’d cop: The black-out sneakers.

Nike International Flag Pack

Nike has released an International Flag Pack in time for the FIFA World Cup. The three-silhouette pack comprising an Air Max Plus, an Air Max 90, and a Zoom Spiridon sport an all-over flag design. The busy patterns are complemented with an iridescent Swoosh and other silver accents all around.

The Nike International Flag Pack is set to drop on June 14 in the United States. Keep a lookout here for more details on this drop, and whether or not a wider release will be made available.

What we’d cop: The Air Max 90s

Louis Vuitton World Cup 2018 Collection

Louis Vuitton is a luxury fashion house that is no stranger to World Cup themed collaborations dating back to 2010. For Russia 2018, however, LV kicks things up a notch with a full leather range.

The collection draws inspiration from the official match ball of the FIFA World Cup in 1970. The accessories come in a variety of sizes ranging from the Keepall and Apollo bags to smaller leather items – with the smallest being a bag tag.

The FIFA World Cup 2018 collection will be available from June 15 to July 15 in select LV stores. Though release details are still unconfirmed, Singapore should be seeing an in-store release mid-June. Stay tuned for more updates.

What we’d cop: Classic monochrome Keepall, with our favorite country embossed on a bag tag.

Umbro x Akomplice World Cup Collection

One of the more underrated collaborations inspired by the World Cup this year belongs to English heritage brand, Umbro, and Akomplice. The collection sees iconic Umbro pieces being reworked into fire loungewear pieces and fits that are ready for the streets.

The Umbro Akomplice World Cup 2018 fashion collection is set to drop on the same day that the tournament kicks off (June 14), however, you can also pick up your exclusive pieces online right now via Akomplice’s web store before it runs out.

What we’d cop: Classic fire hydrant shorts and the joggers – essentials for days.
