The upcoming release of the Nike Dunk Low “St. Johns” continues the varsity theme from the “Be True To Your School” pack. The sneaker sports a full, polished leather upper with a white base and red overlays, representing the varsity colors of New York City’s St. John’s University. It’s definitely one of the best Nike Dunks releases to look out for this year.

Nike Dunk Low “Champ Colors”

Rumor has it that the Nike Dunk Low SP “Champ Colors” appears to be a nod to the New York Knicks. The color scheme follows that of the team colors featuring an orange smooth leather base layered with dark blue panels.

Kasina x Nike Dunk Low

Following in the footsteps of Cactus Plant Flea Market, and CDG, Korean retailer Kasina is getting their chance to create their very own Nike Dunk Low. Featuring a simple color blocking theme, the Kasina x Nike Dunk Low might just strike off as a varsity-inspired sneaker. But the contrasting red or blue swooshes paired with gold or green leather overlays truly sets this collaboration apart from other releases.

Drop date: Fall 2020
Price: US$120 (approx.S$170.58)

Slam Jam x Nike Dunk High

The Italian retailer is putting a refined spin on the Nike Dunk High SP in 2020 with a distinct two-tone finish. The sneakers will come with clean white uppers and colored PVC Swooshes in sky blue and black — adding a polished effect thanks to the glistening material.

Drop date: Fall 2020
Price: US$120 (approx. S$170.58)

Bodega x Nike Dunk High

Bodega is going with a more subtle approach for its Nike Dunk High collab featuring two variations — one in sail while the other is in a pearl white base for the uppers. But there’s nothing subtle about the injection of color on the Swooshes. The sail sneaker will come with a rainbow Swoosh while the pearl white colorway will drop with a clean orange swoosh.

Drop date: Holiday 2020
Price: US$140 / US$120 (approx. S$199.01/ S$170.58)

Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low

The 1960s psychedelic rock band has lent their dancing bears logo to Nike for their upcoming collaboration. The makeup of the sneaker collection draws heavy inspiration from the logo — which will feature brightly colored, furry, and suede uppers. A striking neon swoosh cuts across the lateral sides of the sneaker, which are color-matched to the scarfs worn by each bear. Just like the scarf, the sneaker also has the same jagged edges on one side of the Swoosh. To top it all off, the emblem of the bear is added to the top of the tongue.

Nike SB Dunk High “Atlas”

Rumors do suggest that the Nike SB Dunk High “Atlas” is a collaboration with Atlas Skateboards. But even if it is not, the sneaker is nothing short of a rebellious take on the classic skate sneaker. For one, the entire upper is constructed out of cracked leather – something we have not seen on any recent releases from Nike. On top of that, the tongue tab has been entirely removed and replaced with a “Nike SB Atlas” embroidery. Smooth grey suede is used on the mudguard and heel wrap, contrasting the rest of the rough upper. The yellow cream laces add a vintage feel to the finishing touches, which also matches the yellow drop shadow around the lateral Swoosh.

Instant Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low

Instant Skateboards is dropping a standout pair with their take on the Nike SB Dunk Low fleshed out in light blue. The sneaker features black accents on the rear, adding contrast to the blue base while cream suede overlays on the front matches up to the reflective 3M toe box. Co-branding appears prominently on the heel and tongue tab, with black laces and Swooshes to finish off the collaboration.
