Designed by Jason Petrie, the basketball sneaker features a new cushioning system that combines the Max Air and Zoom Air units. Supported by a “next-generation” Flyknit Battle construction, it lockdowns the foot for a more secure fit.
Aesthetically, the shoe comes in a dark gray “Ashes” colorway. It features flame logos on the inner tongues and unique Swoosh branding on the heels. It also comes equipped with a black-speckled white midsole.
“This is my favorite shoe to date,” James told Nike News. “The performance benefits and sophisticated look make this shoe a force on and off the court.”
The LeBron 15 “Ashes” drops on October 28 for a retail price of US$185 (approx. S$248). In addition to the “Ashes” colorway, the sneaker was also spotted in two other colorways, “King’s Cloak” and “Ghost”.
Designed by KITH and Nike, the “King’s Cloak” (see above) features a flower embroidered upper with a gold zip that reveals the words, “LONG LIVE THE KING”. The shoe was debuted at the KITH Fashion Show last week.
As for the “Ghost” colorway (see below), it was shared by the King on Instagram. Featuring a tanned khaki upper, it comes with leather tabs on the tongue and heel, as well as speckled midsoles and ice blue translucent outsoles.
No further details about these two colorways are available at the moment. Stay tuned to Straatosphere for drop dates and prices.
