Onitsuka Tiger Stripes 50th Anniversary Exhibition Open to Public from 30 July

The Onitsuka Tiger Stripes exhibition will play host to a diverse range of custom shoes by 50 of Singapore’s creative talents.

Highlighting Onitsuka Tiger Stripes’ 50-year milestone is M66: Of Different Stripes, an exhibition that will showcase 50 custom shoes designed by creatives in Singapore.

Held at Pedder on Scotts, expect to see various iterations of the iconic Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, as designed by the likes of Alvin Tan, Aeropalmics, Oak & Bindi and more.

The exhibition will also see the launch of The Art of Mixing, Onitsuka Tiger’s Fall/Winter 2016-2017 collection.

This series bridges Japanese and Brazilian cultures, breathing new life into several Onitsuka Tiger models. Four artists with ties to both countries have created new versions of Onitsuka Tiger’s sneakers; these are the California 78, Colorado Eighty-Five, Lawnship and Mexico Delegation.
