There’s a new footwear and lifestyle products retailer in Singapore, and if its unique retail concept doesn’t bowl you over, its overwhelming range of shoes and accessories certainly will.
There’s a new sneaker store in Singapore, and it comes in the form of Pedder on Scotts. Occupying 20,000 square feet, an entire level in Scotts Square, Pedder on Scotts is Pedder Group’s largest freestanding store in Asia. The vast shop space is segregated into several distinctive zones, each carrying a specific category of luxury or contemporary footwear, bags and accessories.
Sneaker collectors will undoubtedly head to the futuresque-looking Weekend & Sports sectionfirst, as it’s home to familiar sneaker brands like adidas, ASICS Tiger, Converse and Nike. Shoes from Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL), made popular by the Kardashians, may have been banned from the NBA, but they’re exclusively available at Pedder on Scotts.
Guys who want something more upmarket will find their desires fulfilled at On Pedder Men. Here, guys will find refined collections from labels such as Alexander Wang, Common Projects, and more. Ladies, fret not, as there’s a section carrying the latest in designer heels and handbags too.
It’s not just the adults who get to enjoy a day of shoe shopping. Children are more than welcome at Pedder on Scotts, and the Cool Kids zone will keep them occupied with its enchanted forest theme. There are plenty of footwear options for the young here, including limited edition products created by Pedder Group’s creative arm, Blitz.
From time to time, Pedder on Scotts will host a number of pop-up kiosks to introduce exciting brands and collaborations to the Singapore market. Designers will also make regular appearances to share their creative inspirations and their latest lineups.
In fact, shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood is set to grace the store’s official opening on October 16th and present his 10-year anniversary collection, while APL’s co-founders Adam and Ryan Goldston are slated to visit Singapore this December.
Pedder on Scotts is also a dedicated creative space, with homegrown designer-artist Theseus Chan‘s month-long exhibition taking place in the store once it officially opens.
Need a break? Renowned Hong Kong-based coffee connoisseurs, The Coffee Academics, is set to open in November, so customers can dine, enjoy a cuppa and put their feet up (not literally) from all that shopping.
