Release of the Week: Nike Lunar Force 1 “Year of the Horse”

Nike ushers in the Lunar New Year with the Nike Lunar Force 1 “Year of the Horse”.

By Damien Lee

Inspired by the horse, the animal representing the year 2014 on the Chinese zodiac calendar, the Nike Lunar Force 1 “Year of the Horse” features a smooth black and white leather upper with a turquoise translucent swoosh and outsole. Details include stylized Chinese “ma” (“horse”) character on the tongue and heel, and a lace dubrae which reads “Great success with the arrival of the Horse”. Finishing off the shoe is Nike’s ultra-comfortable Lunarlon midsole.

Dropping January 9th, the shoe will be available in limited quantities from select Nike retailers.
