Adidas Calabasas Powerphase in Gray, As Seen on Kanye

Kanye West is making heads turn with his sneakers. This time, with the Adidas Calabasas Powerphase in a new colorway.

The Yeezy Mafia has announced that the Adidas Yeezy Powerphase will be released sometime in January 2018. According to the Twitter post, the sneakers will come in two colorways: gray and black.

The shoes will retail at US$120 (approx. S$163) reports Sole Collector. To add to the hype, Kanye West’s wife Kim Kardashian also teased the forthcoming Yeezy Powerphase on Snapchat August 25. Check out the image below:

Kanye West gives fans a closer look at an unreleased pair of Adidas Calabasas Powerphase in a new tonal gray colorway.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, the shoes also feature Adidas Calabasas branding on its panel in a contrasting color. But much like its ancestor, the shoes come as a streamlined, tennis inspired silhouette.

Earlier this month, Twitter user Yeezy Mafia uploaded an image of the Adidas Calabasas samples in two colors: all-black and gray. At this point, however, no launch dates have been revealed yet.

It looks like Kanye has a lot planned in the near future. According to Hot New Hip Hop, the musician will unveil Yeezy Season 6 at New York Fashion Week that takes place in September this year.
