BAIT x adidas Stan Smith Vulc “Happy”

A nod to the recreational drug enjoyed by users worldwide, the BAIT x adidas Stan Smith Vulc “Happy” has a secret stash compartment for all the little things.

With the BAIT x adidas Stan Smith Vulc “Happy” set to drop later this week, weed consumers will have another reason to blaze it during the unofficial National Weed Day on April 20th (420).

The sneaker uses the traditional Stan Smith silhouette and abandons the usual leather on the uppers in favor of natural hemp that’s been heat pressed to create a “stoned out” pattern. The heel comes in hairy suede, dyed in the familiar Stan Smith green.

Found on the tongue label is a medical prescription for weed, which includes the phrases “high potency” and “superior quality” that allude to the drug’s popular recreational use.

But the real magic lies on the underside of the tongue, as a secret stash compartment lets wearers hide small items, such as cash, coins and even weed, within.

A cork insole comes with a tongue-in-cheek advisory warning on the side-effects of weed, and the sneaker comes with three lace options — black, white and stoned out hemp.

The BAIT x adidas Stan Smith Vulc “Happy’ will be allocated via raffle, which is open from now till April 15th. The shoe is priced at US$120 a pair.
