For the Fall/Winter 22, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with Mastermind Japan to create an 8-piece capsule collection. The collection features classic Carhartt WIP apparel like the OG Active Jacket and Bib overalls adapted in Mastermind Japan’s style of all-black constructions with silver accents and hardware. The curated pieces are also topped off with the Mastermind’s signature skull motif.
Bold branding is added to the MMJ Coach Jacket as a reflective print and the Double Knee Jogger pant as silver embroidery. The merging of aesthetics continues on to other pieces within the collection, which includes a hooded sweatshirt, loose pocket t-shirt and a pile-fleece neck warmer.

This power-studded duo are no strangers to one another, having collaborated previously in 2018. This collection ensures the ongoing relationship between the creative team at Carhartt WIP and Mastermind Japan founder, Masaaki Homma who has been at its helm since 1997. The brand has since gone on to garner a cult following who appreciate Homma’s use of skull motifs coupled with the refinement of Japanese craftsmanship.
The Carhartt WIP x Mastermind Japan capsule dropped on November 12th in Singapore and is available in-store only. Each piece ranges from the Pile-Neck Fleece Warmer costing S$99 to the Bib Overalls going for S$499.
