Pharrell Williams for Uniqlo UT 2014 Spring Summer Collection

Uniqlo welcomes Pharrell Williams as a collaborator and spokesperson for the UT 2014 Spring Summer Collection.

Update: The “i am OTHER” UT Collection will be available in Singapore from May 5^th onward.

Since Nigo was named Uniqlo UT’s Creative Director last year, we knew a collaboration with musician and music producer, Pharrell Williams, was bound to happen. This month, Uniqlo has appointed Pharrell as a collaborator and spokesperson for the UT 2014 Spring Summer Collection.

The UT 2014 Spring Summer collection comprises over 30 themes in a variety of colors and patterns, and features a line in collaboration with Pharrell’s “i am OTHER” creative collective. The products will include Men’s and Women’s T-shirts and caps.

Pharrell will also appear in campaign images and a commercial for the UT 2014 Spring Summer collection. The collection will be available in the 14 countries including Singapore, and regions around the world.

Launched in 2003, Uniqlo’s UT T-shirt brand is getting a facelift beyond the celebrity endorsement. Under the creative direction and meticulous eye of street style icon Nigo, UT will be releasing a collection titled “The New Model T”, which consists of tees made from thicker material and feature a special torso with no seams.

The “i am OTHER” UT collection will be available in Singapore from early May.
