Salehe Bembury Goes Volcanic With New Balance 1906r

Following sold-out collaborations based on the 990v2, 2002r, and 574, Salehe Bembury kicks off 2024 with a brand new collaboration with New Balance utilizing the 1906r. Dubbed “Heat Be Hot” collaboration, it comes in two colorways, ‘Lava’ and ‘Magma’. followmyko

The ‘Lava’ colorway is suited with a gradient upper, which flows from a yellow toebox to an orange rear upper. It is complemented with silver overlays and laces and finished with a grey midsole and outsole. Burnt marks detailing can also be found on the midsole, further enhancing the volcanic-inspired colorway. The signature tag with ‘Salehe Bembury’ branding is stitched onto both the lateral side of the shoes.

On the contrary, the ‘Magma’ colorway features a bright red upper with a baby blue accent throughout the entire shoe. It uses a magenta midsole and a purplish outsole. Similar to the ‘Lava’ colorway, burnt mark detailing is also highlighted on the midsole.

Based on the success of previous launches including the 990v2 and 2002r models, combined with the popularity of the 1906r silhouette, we expect to see both colorways sell out. The ‘Lava’ colorway might have a greater demand considering the silver overlays that align well with the trending Y2K aesthetic.
