Tinie Tempah

The 25-year-old English rapper released his first mixtape in 2005. His first album, Disc-Overy, debuted at number one in the UK in October 2010. In February 2011, he won a Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act. He also loves his Nikes – in 2011, he spent a cool £24,000 to become the first person to own a pair of the Nike MAG shoes inspired by the sneakers worn by Marty McFly in Back to the Future II. Far East Movement

Not only did this US electro-hop group make talking about G6es mainstream, it’s also responsible for fuelling parties across the world with music such as Live My Life featuring Justin Bieber and Dirty Bass featuring Tyga. They group revealed they love to mix streetwear with high-end apparel, which they have a penchant for customizing rather than wearing as is, just to “piss people off you know?”

Iggy Azalea

Australian-born, US-based hip-hop artist Iggy Azalea has had a huge year. Not only is she the first female and non-American rapper featured on XXL’s annual Top 10 Freshman cover issue, she’s touring with Beyoncé on the Australian leg of “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” and has been nominated for the “Artist to Watch” Moonman at this Sunay’s VMAs. Yuna

Growing up in Malaysia, Yuna was first inspired by the universal appeal of acts like No Doubt, The Cranberries, and Fiona Apple. While in law school at the age of 19, she picked up a guitar and began to write fervently. She released her self-titled EP in Malaysia in 2008. The single Deeper Conversation became a massive success and went on to win the title of Best English Song at the 2009 AIM Awards.

Cobra Starship

Cobra Starship is an American dance-pop band created by former Midtown bassist and lead vocalist Gabe Saporta in 2003 in New York City, New York. After writing and recording the band’s debut album While the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets as a solo project, Saporta enlisted guitarist Ryland Blackinton, bassist Alex Suarez, drummer Nate Novarro, and keytarist Victoria Asher, all of whom provide backing vocals.
