Hal Studios x Asics Gel-1130 "Glacier": The End Of A Collaborative Trilogy

Hal Studios and Asics have announced their latest Gel-1130 shoe, which will come in “Glacier”. Following the release of the “Smoke Grey” and “Forest” colorways, the “Glacier” colorway marks the end of their collaborative trilogy.

With running shoes being in trend the past few years, Asics has seized the opportunity by collaborating with brands, from Hal Studios to JJJJound, to create some of their most popular sneakers yet. After partnering with Hal Studios in 2022, they launched the Hal Studios x Asics Gel-1130 MK III in “Smoke Grey” and “Forest”. Now, they’re wrapping up the collaboration trilogy by introducing the Gel-1130 MK III in “Glacier”.

From the images that have been released thus far, it is clear that the “Glacier” colorway is much more subtle than its previous renditions. The predominantly soft, off-white color is seen on the shoe’s mesh build, toe tip overlays and cracked leather trims on the iconic Asics Tiger Stripes. The shoe also features hints of black on the forefoot, eyestays and heel, in stark contrast to the bright red hiker-style shoelaces. And, just like its previous counterparts, the “Glacier” colorway features creative house’s branding running down its heel.

As of now, there has been no official release date for these kicks, but the teaser suggests that they may debut during Paris Fashion Week. Stay tuned for more information on the Hal Studios x Asics Gel-1130 “Glacier”.
