If Drake was hoping to pop a surprise like how Madonna did when she kissed him at Coachella, he definitely succeeded with this unexpected release of the OVO x Air Jordan 10.
A few hours ago, Drake’s label OVO (October’s Very Own) dropped the OVO x Air Jordan 10 unannounced at its Los Angeles pop-up store. Those who were lucky enough to be in the area picked them up at US$225 a pair.
Drake has been loyal to Jordan Brand, having been spotted with a few of their exclusives over the past few years. The two parties have gone a step further this time round, making their collaboration available to the public. The OVO x Air Jordan 10 comes in both black and white, each shoe dressed in leather with stingray detailing and gold accents. Additional bits include OVO branding on the sole and the OVO owl on the insole.
If you missed out on the release, you can get a second chance on eBay. The current bid for a size 14 pair stands at US$3,550. Feeling rich? This unreleased promo sample is going for close to 14 grand. No word on whether they will be another drop, but if you’re in Los Angeles it might be worth a gamble to visit the pop-up store everyday till it closes on April 30th.
