When 250 police-seized sneakers go up for auction with a starting price of US$5 each, you can be sure that sneakerheads are keeping tabs and preparing for the bidding war.
Police seized about 250 pairs of sneakers in Flint, Michigan, and Repocast.com, the party that’s putting the shoes up for auction, may have gotten more attention than they expected for their first-ever online sneaker auction.
The haul of sneakers, which include hot properties like the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Concord”, Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One and a whole bunch of other Nike and adidas kicks, are being watched by sneakerheads who will be eager to bid for rare gems that come in an assortment of sizes for men, women and youth.
Bidding starts at US$5, but you can expect those figures to skyrocket once the auction begins today at 8am, Eastern Time (8pm SGT). The auction will close at 7 to 8pm on the same day, giving sneakerheads half a day to try their luck. Curious to find out what else is up for bidding? Take a look at all the auction items here.
