Munich-based fashion label A Kind of Guise partners adidas Consortium for a capsule collection that’s both designed and constructed in Germany.
Adidas’ popular 1980s “New York” running shoe, known for its iconic Dellinger webbing in the midsole and Ghillie speed lacing system, is revived for the A Kind of Guise x adidas Consortium “New York” Pack.
A Kind of Guise utilizes German-made waffle piqué material for the uppers and fusing D-ring eyelets to the adidas three-stripes. A leather insole offers a premium feel to the updated silhouette.
A waffle piqué coach jacket and lambswool sweater complement the shoes, and all items in the collection feature oak leave patterns that are symbolic of the oak tree – an icon of Germany that stands for loyalty and stability.
The A Kind of Guise x adidas Consortium “New York” Pack is now available at kapok Singapore.
