The much-talked-about release of the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” this weekend is no more. Here are some pictures that will tell you exactly why.
“Bred” related sneakers are all the rage, so it comes as a disappointment that the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” has been called off due to supposed “quality issues”.
Retailers like Finish Line have issued statements regarding this cancellation, but without much explanation as to what exactly is wrong:
This weekend’s AJ 1 KO launch has been cancelled due to product related issues.
— Finish Line (@FinishLine) August 4, 2015
The decision was made because the product did not meet Jordan Brand’s high quality standards.

However, Twitter user lvoxo (@liziswaydope) has posted some photos of the sneaker in question, with what appears to be mold growing on them:

Retailers have apparently been told to return their stock, and as of now, no new date has been set yet.
