Burū, a collection of intricate products made in collaboration with FIN and several local artists, celebrates the significance of the color blue.
Homegrown label Finicky In Nature, also known as FIN, has centered itself on the thoughtful design and construction of basic, everyday items. Working with several Singaporean artists, FIN will be unveiling Burū (Japanese for “blue”), a collection of products made with indigo-dyed fabrics, denim and blue-cotton canvas.
The collection pays homage to the significance of the color blue as a staple in blue-collared 1940s America, in materials chambray and denim, and in indigo dye itself. Collaborators include Kamiliah Bahdar, SBTG and Kurt Pereira. Burū will showcase totes, aprons and accessories which are available for purchase on-site (cash payment only). Prices start from S$30 to S$700.
