Choose from custom Japanese raw selvedge denim or classic Turkish denim, and a whole lot of other features that can be tailored to suit your fancy. Best part: Discount for Straatosphere readers!
Ever owned a pair of jeans that just didn’t feel right? The perfect jeans should fit like second skin, and this is where customized jeans tend to outdo their off-the-rack counterparts.
A recent partnership between bespoke shirtmaker Victor York and France-based custom denim maker Jeanuine now brings customized jeans much closer to home. Just how customizable are these jeans? Customers have the choice of cut (straight, slim or bootcut), fabric type (Japanese raw selvedge or classic Turkish denim, stretch or no stretch) and denim color, to minor details such as pocket design, thread color and choice of rivets.
Each pair of jeans can be further personalized with the wearer’s name embroidered prominently on the front or rear pocket area of the jeans, or discreetly on the inner pocket lining.
To get started, head to a Victor York store in Singapore, depending on where you’re based, browse the sample jeans and options on display, and let the good people from the boutique assist you.
Waiting time is approximately one month, with prices for the customized jeans ranging between S$300 to S$350. Here’s the best part: Enjoy a 10% discount on your order from now till 27 November 2015 – just mention that you’re a Straatosphere reader!
