Dior x Air Jordan 1 2021 Leaks: Three New Colorways On the Way

Fresh rumors suggest there are three new colorways of the highly coveted Dior x Air Jordan 1 in 2021 in the works. Here’s everything we know so far.

Back in three new colors: Rumors began with Urban Necessities founder Jaysee Lopez who claimed that the 2021 Dior x Air Jordan 1 was set to return in Chicago, Royal and Black/White colorways.

Colorways are not fixed: Fanning the flames further was a tweet by notable leak account @MrUnloved1s. They claimed to have heard whispers about the collaboration but that the Black/White colorway could be a triple white pair instead.

According to @MrUnloved1s, one of the three colorways is set to be a women’s exclusive colorway, arriving only in smaller sizes.

Neither brand has confirmed the second wave of releases and no leaked images have surfaced showcasing the sneakers in hand or in production.

Final note: Bringing back the Dior x Air Jordan 1 just makes sense for the two powerhouse brands. Both from a cultural and business standpoint, Nike and Dior could not have left this collaboration as a one-time release. Not only was it the most anticipated sneaker drops of 2020, but it’s still one of the most desirable releases of that year – pairs are still reselling for four times its retail price. When it comes down to sheer revenue, it is estimated that Dior made US$30 million from that single drop according to @highsnobietysneakers. It’s clear that there is a demand for another Dior x Air Jordan 1 drop and both brands could potentially increase revenue by introducing more than one new colorway.
