The Cactus Jack x Dior collection was unveiled in June this year and was meant to be part of Dior’s summer 2022 collection. Artistic director Kim Jones had worked with Travis to channel his Houston upbringing into the design of the collection. Pieces from collection were set to feature graphics, logos, typography and embroidery inspired by Travis’ wildly popular Cactus Jack tour merchandise.

This is not the first time a brand has called off its collaboration with Travis since the Astroworld concert tragedy which led to multiple deaths. In November, Nike announced that the Travis Scott x Air Max 1 collab would be delayed and the rapper’s W Magazine cover with Kylie Jenner was recalled at the last minute.

In an interview with Charlamagne tha God, Travis claimed he did not hear the screams from fans for help during the gig. The festival organizers and performers are currently facing multiple lawsuits, and the US Congress has also begun investigating the tragedy at Astroworld.
