Hiroshi Fujiwara refines the Fragment x Air Jordan 35

Hiroshi Fujiwara tinkers with the Air Jordan 35. Here’s how you can pick them up when they drop on October 28.

Hiroshi Fujiwara has had quite a year with long time collaborator, Jordan Brand. This year alone, the Japanese designer has hinted at an AJ3, AJ34, Air Cadence and a Sacai x Nike collaboration. At the same time, news of this brand new Air Jordan 35 comes right off the heels of the Fragment x Air Jordan 3 and Air Cadence, which dropped in September.

Everything about this colorway is similar to the 2014 Fragment x Air Jordan 1. The forefoot gets black overlays while the rear comes with a predominantly blue leather heel cap. The same black leather is applied to the exposed part of the tongue. Contrasting the solid black tongue is a faded blue ankle collar.

Just like all other Fragment releases, the technical information about the sneaker is inscribed onto the gloss black Eclipse 2.0 plate. A heel tab with the Jordan brand and Fragment logo completes the Fragment x Air Jordan 35.

Fujiwara’s minimalist approach to his collaboration simplifies an otherwise busy and bold silhouette, making it wearable off-court and on.
