Kaws: Holiday Singapore Collection Drops On November 13

The monumental Kaws: Holiday sculpture is making its seventh pitstop in Singapore alongside a global collection debut.

From November 13 till 21, Singapore’s skyline will embrace the Kaws: Holiday as part of its global tour. In collaboration with Allrightsreserved and Singapore Tourism Board, the monumental 42m-long sculpture will be positioned right at the heart of Singapore – along the Singapore river at The Float @ Marina Bay.

The sculpture depicts the iconic Kaws character, Companion, embracing a miniature version of itself in a reclined position.

Kaws: Holiday in Seoul, Korea

As part of the Kaws: Holiday aim to promote public appreciation of art, the installation has made pitstops in Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Outer Space, and the United Kingdom before arriving in Singapore.

Most importantly, the tour is aimed at the growing Kaws fanbase in Singapore, who can now see their beloved character on a massive scale. Fans and the public can get up close to the sculpture from November 14 onwards.

Kaws: Holiday in Doha, Qatar

The Kaws: Holiday Singapore pitstop also marks the last significant event at The Float @ Marina Bay. Plans to redevelop the location are set to begin in March 2022.

A set of collectibles are set to drop to mark the Kaws: Holiday arrival in Singapore. Titled Kaws: Holiday Singapore, the collection includes 10.5inch-long Companion statues in brown, grey and black (US$285), 500 limited edition camping sets (US$750), tank tops (US$50) and fans (US$30).
