Lupe Fiasco Does the Impossible, Beats Legendary Gamer Daigo in Street Fighter V

Who knew that Lupe Fiasco, known mostly for his music, had such a knack for video games?

Lupe Fiasco has unlocked an achievement that many others can only dream about – defeating world-famous Street Fighter gamer Daigo Umehara at his own game.

The rapper met up with Daigo at the launch of Street Fighter V in San Francisco, and it didn’t take long before they got down to business in an exhibition match streamed to fans and fellow gamers worldwide.

After 15 minutes of back-and-forth action, Lupe eventually emerged with victorious, surprising those in attendance and home-viewers.

Unsurprisingly, there has since been an onslaught of YouTubers debating the legitimacy of the match; some calling it staged and others saying that Lupe had probably practised for months in order to beat Daigo. Ah well, you can’t win.
