New Air Max 1 Colorways Dropping in May

The New Air Max 1 colorways include all new colorways Desert Sand and Miami Vibes pack, and a re-released Curry pack.

The month of May is looking to be a real good time for Air Max 1 fans!

Five new Air Max 1 colorways are set to drop this month. The wide range of colors and styles ensures that there will be an Air Max 1 for every one of your outfits and moods this season.

Miami Vibes Pack

The Miami Vibes pack consists of four styles of summer-ready sneakers: the Air Max 98, Air Max 97, Air Max 93, and the Air Max 1. Dubbed the First Born, the Air Max 1 comes in an eye-catching dose of color. The sneaker is trimmed with a turquoise suede lining and a pastel pink Swoosh, perfect for the summer.

The Air Max 1 First Born, along with the rest of the sneakers in the pack, will be available on May 10 online at Nike.com.

Curry Pack

The Air Max 1 Curry Pack first released in 2003 and has since gone on to be considered one of the greatest general release sneakers in Nike’s history. 15 years since its launch, the Curry Pack will finally be making its return this month.

But the re-release will come in a different color palette compared to its original. Each sneaker and colorway represent the different flavors of curry in Asia. Traditional curry inspired the Dark Curry colorway, while the Olive Flak colorway is inspired by green curry. The Tough Red colorway dresses the Air Max in a hue that is strikingly similar to the Thai red curry dish.

This pack is set to drop on May 12 online at Nike.com.

Desert Storm

The Desert Storm is the latest sneak preview among all the new Air Max 1 colorway releases. The light beige foundation of the sneaker sticks to its desert theme. The shoelaces and upper half are of a muted wolf grey, and this is contrasted by an orange and blue Nike branding on the tongue of the shoe and a bright orange swoosh on either side.

No official date has been released yet, but this pair of sneakers is set to drop sometime this month. Stay tuned on this page for updates on the official release details.
