New Balance is expanding its running line-up in Singapore with the Ellipse, a new daily trainer designed to help runners quite literally lose track of time on the run. Framed around comfort and ease, the Ellipse is built for everyone from first-time runners to seasoned athletes looking to log easy miles and recovery sessions.

Anchored by New Balance’s Fresh Foam X cushioning, the Ellipse reimagines the foam with a bouncier underfoot feel, aiming to make everyday runs more enjoyable and less punishing on the body. The shoe pairs its midsole with a rockered profile that encourages smooth transitions.

The upper is constructed from engineered mesh that balances stretch and structure, delivering a breathable, secure fit once laced up. Details like a cushioned tongue, heel tab and stretch laces round out the package, giving the Ellipse a runner-friendly finish that is tuned for long-wear comfort and everyday versatility. Reflective hits also help with visibility for those who prefer early-morning or late-night sessions.

‘Lose Track of Time’ pop-up

To mark the local launch, New Balance is rolling out an immersive ‘Lose Track of Time’ pop-up experience at Trifecta Riders’ Lounge on 7–8 March 2026. Designed as a community-first space, the activation invites runners to step away from pace charts and performance metrics and reconnect with running as something personal, creative and restorative.

Across the weekend, visitors can trial the Ellipse on-site, link up with fellow runners and explore touchpoints inspired by the campaign’s mindfulness-driven approach to movement. It is a chance to road-test the shoe before committing, while soaking in a laid-back environment that puts connection and enjoyment ahead of stopwatch stress.
