Nike Air Max shoes have been going strong for 27 years and continue to impress with each yearly update. The Nike Air Max 2015 is no exception.
The Nike Air Max 1 revolutionized footwear cushioning nearly 30 years ago and its trademark visible Air Unit, carried forth till today, makes it instantly recognizable (follow the Air Max owner’s journey here). Each yearly update sees the Nike Air Max being reinvented with some new design or technological input, and the new model for next year is no different.
The Nike Air Max 2015 has a completely Engineered Mesh upper, a first for the Air Max, that offers more support and flexibility while keeping the shoe lightweight and breathable. The foot is securely wrapped thanks to a combination of the upper, Nike Flywire technology as well as the internal heel counter cup and booty.
Air Max cushioning platform runs along the entire length of the shoe and provides a plush ride. Flex grooves enhance the forefoot’s flexibility and contributes to a smooth transition with each stride. A Waffle outsole maintains excellent road traction and a Sculpted Cushlon positioned between the Air Max Unit and upper adds to an already comfortable and smooth feel.
The Nike Air Max 2015 retails for S$299 and will be available at Nike stores from November 28th.
