Release of the Week: Nike x Roundel By London Underground Air Max Collection

To commemorate the London Tube’s 150th anniversary, Nike has linked up with Roundel by London to present the Underground Air Max Collection.

The Nike x Roundel By London Underground Air Max Collection comprises the two most iconic Air Max models. Its print is inspired by the bold pattern found on the London public transport system’s seat upholstery in the 1980s. Utilizing Nike’s latest technology of engineered woven jacquard, the uppers are made of a one-piece woven construction providing an updated feel to the sneakers without compromising the iconic lines achieved through cut-and-sewn methods. Both shoes are finished off with a natural gum outsole and classic “Roundel” branding on the tongue.

The Nike X Roundel By London Underground Air Max Collection debuts December 14th at select retailers. £100 for the Air Max 90; £95 for the Air Max 1.
