Japanese lifestyle label BEAMS will be making its way to Singapore for a month-long pop-up. Alongside its usual collections is a special collaboration with Kapok.
Japanese lifestyle and apparel brand BEAMS has partnered with design-centric multi-label store Kapok for its biggest Singapore showcase to date. The pop-up will be at the latter’s flagship store at National Design Centre (NDC) and runs from November 6th to December 7th.
Besides bringing in its staple collections, BEAMS will be highlighting a collaborative collection with Kapok, which consists of a specially designed cap (S$89), t-shirt (S$69) and bag (S$299). Featuring the key slogans “DO NOT DISTURB PLEASE” and “DO NOT DISTURB PLEASE”, the collection was designed by Akira Taneichi, Director of B-jirushi Yoshida and BEAMS Planet, and inspired by his visit to Kapok at NDC.
Stay tuned for our interview with Taneichi and pay Kapok a visit when the pop-up store opens!
Kapok is located at National Design Centre, 111 Middle Road.
