Reebok Intervals are back – capturing the loud appeal of a dad shoe with the performance of a 90s sneaker.

Reebok has posed its fans a challenge: create a colorway for the Reebok Interval that is as bold and loud as you are.

If you have always dreamed of creating your own sneaker colorway, here is your chance. Reebok is giving you a huge opportunity to create your very own custom sneaker, with the new Reebok Interval as your canvas. The sneaker takes its design influence from the original Reebok Interval launched in 1996, the choice performance sneaker of that era among athletes and average Joes alike.

The sneaker was eye-catching from the get-go, with a very in-your-face design. The lateral sides of the sneaker feature massive Reebok logos that span from the toe box to the heel of the sneaker. Despite incorporating the bold and colorful vibe of the 90s, the sneaker will match any outfit easily.

Zico uses the Interval to showcase the Go Bold vibe of the sneaker.

To keep it as comfortable for casual strolls as for long runs, the sneaker is constructed out of a mix of leather and mesh – keeping the shoe relatively breathable and cool.  The sneaker was originally aimed at athletes of the era, to help them push their limits. Staying true to this aim, the new Reebok Interval features the Hexalite cushion of the original sneaker – making it an all-day sneaker.

Now Reebok is giving you a chance to put your design skills to the test: create your own head-turning colorway for the sneaker. The Interval will be dropping in its OG colorway – a patriotic red, white and blue – so it’s up to you to design something that can one-up that.

All you have to do is check out the Reebok Facebook page, Instagram page or visit any of their stores to get your copy of the Interval template. Design your own colorway on the Interval template and submit your masterpiece through the Google form linked on their Facebook page by November 5. Shortlisted designs will be featured on the Reebok Facebook page on November 6 for voting. The top three entries will win a pair of Intervals in their custom colorway! But even if you don’t win the top prizes, you will get a custom tote bag printed with your design.

So this is your chance to unleash your inner sneaker designer. Who knows, you might walk away with a one-of-one Reebok Interval that showcases your head-turning handiwork.
