With the launch of their first brand store in Southeast Asia, Salomon has brought over the mountain sports and lifestyle products that made them a cult favorite.

Gone are the days when gorpcore heads had to scour the internet to place an order for a pair of Salomon XT-6 from other retailers or have it re-ship back to Singapore. Although local retailers such as Limited Edt. and Leftfoot have brought their curated selection of Salomon footwear to our shores, the range of selections would not be as great as the Salomon brand store itself, which caters to more consumer types.

Given this, cult favorite Salomon has opened its first-ever Southeast Asia brand store here in Singapore. Located at Raffles City, it has a full range of Salomon mountain sports and lifestyle products including outdoor, trail, running, and the first-ever launch of the coveted Sportstyle collection.

In the Sportstyle collection, the most sought-after model is the Salomon XT-6, originally launched back in 2013. The lightweight, streamlined construction features a mix of resistant TPU film and mesh designed to last. The downhill chassis and lug geometry provide more stability, with EVA cushioning that protects the foot and ensures a soft landing. The pair retails for S$299, with many colorways available in-store for purchase.

In the S/Lab performance running side of things, grk10 has collaborated with Salomon for the X-ALP grk10 shoe, using ultra-resistant fireman’s uniform fabric to create karting and motorsports-inspired products. It features the patented 3D Edging Chassis for lateral stability and flexibility while the collapsible tongue offers style adaptability. 

Salomon Trail to City Exhibition

As part of the opening celebrations, Salomon is holding the exhibition on Level 3 Atrium of Raffles City from January 25 to February 14. It features a unique display showcasing the Salomon brand’s legacy, alongside the latest range of XT-6 styles and a preview of upcoming collaboration products. Those visiting the exhibition can also participate in the several workshops that will also be held over the next two weekends.
