Here’s an unparalleled view of Singapore as seen from the International Space Station (ISS).
The space station orbits 350km above Earth and offers a stunning view that few will ever get to experience. Kopra has been on the ISS since December 2015 and regularly shoots photos, tweeting them with the hashtag #CitiesfromSpace.
As seen from his picture, much of the tiny red dot shines brightly at night. Areas like Orchard Road and Changi Airport are distinctly lit, while places such as nature reserves and reservoirs are mostly blacked out.
Returning to Earth in May 2016, Kopra has also taken photos of other famous cities such as Beijing, New York and Dubai. See them here:
