This masterpiece propelled SBTG to worldwide recognition. Till this day, many sneaker collectors around the world consider the SBTG x Nike SB Dunk a holy grail.
Limited Edt x New Balance M577LE
Limited to 140 pairs worldwide, Limited Edt teamed up with New Balance to produce a collab to mark the store’s 5th anniversary. The colorway was a reflection of the store’s interior while each box was secured by a combination lock that was accessed by a serial number corresponding to the individually numbered sneaker.
Jahan x Vans Vault Sk8-Hi
For China’s first ever Vans Vault release, the American skateboarding company collaborated with Singapore visual artist Jahan Loh. The design, which depicted honor and royalty in China, was launched exclusively in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Only 200 pairs were released.
SBTG & Methamphibian x Leftfoot x New Balance 576 “Heaven & Hell” Edition
SBTG and American sneaker customizer Methamphibian worked almost an entire year on the New Balance 576. The aim was to utilize only one color per design and to create as much depth as possible with the sneaker paneling. Each colorway was limited to 444 pieces worldwide.
Jahan x Vans Mountain Edition Mid
Jahan’s second collaboration with Vans involved the less common Mountain Edition Mid model. Despite being predominately black, the suede combined with patent snakeskin leather upper, made this sneaker an eye catcher. Only 200 pairs made it to consumers.
Leftfoot x mita sneakers x New Balance 999 “Feral” Collection
To reintroduce the iconic 999 model into the market, New Balance teamed up with Singapore sneaker retailer Leftfoot and Japan’s mita sneakers. Dubbed the “Mouse” and “Lion”, the sneakers were an interpretation of Asia-inspired lifestyles and culture by drawing on various animals that have left their mark on our urban jungles. Released on August 9th, 2009, each design was limited to 660 pieces worldwide.
SBTG x DC Shoes “Circus of Mutants”
The inaugural collaboration between SBTG and American footwear company, DC Shoes, saw a unique design which paid tribute to Singapore’s legendary 80s and 90s skateboarding crew Circus of Mutants.
Limited Edt x adidas Consortium Rod Laver
Marking adidas Consortium’s first collaboration with a South East Asian retailer, these glow in the dark Tron-inspired sneakers were limited to 500 pairs worldwide. All pairs were made available exclusively at LE Vault and London’s Adidas No. 6.
Limited Edt x New Balance M577BST
Specially produced at the legendary New Balance Flimby Factory in England, these sneakers featured only the finest premium materials. The “velvet” special box Singapore release, which was limited to 180 pairs, included a VIP access card to the vault at Limited Edt Chamber store.
Leftfoot x Streething x New Balance “Past, Present and Future” Collection
For the 2011 Asia Pacific Project, New Balance partnered Singapore sneaker retailer Leftfoot and web magazine Streething on a project which paid tribute to the iconic New Balance 574 sneaker. Only 600 pairs of each design were made available.
Subcrew MADE by Jahan x adidas Originals ZX 700
Only 40 pairs of these sneakers were produced as a promotional item for friends and family of Hong Kong’s streetwear label Subcrew. Invoking the same theme as the Subcrew MADE by Jahan “Working Class Hero” collection, the sneakers were produced to show respect and appreciation to those that have contributed to the culture of streetwear.
Limited Edt x Android Homme Propulsion Hi
For its first ever collaboration with an international retailer, Los Angeles luxury footwear brand Android Homme partnered Limited Edt. The result was a neo-futuristic design as an interpretation of Limited Edt’s Vault and Chamber store. Both colorways were limited to 72 pairs worldwide.
Limited Edt x New Balance ML574 “Year of the Dragon”
In conjunction with the release of the 574 Dragon Pack, New Balance invited five influential stores from Asia to put their spin on the 574 silhouette. Limited Edt interpreted the water dragon by using see-through uppers with reflective material on the heels and lace toggles.
Limited Edt x Reebok Workout Plus
This sneaker was released as part of the Reebok Workout’s 25th Anniversary. The blue and orange colorway drew inspiration from the bottle aesthetic of Singapore’s Tiger Beer in 1987, the year the Workout first debuted.
SBTG x Kicks Lab x Thrasher “Buchanan Dog”
SBTG is a name synonymous with old school punk skate aesthetic, so his collaboration with Thrasher Magazine and Kicks Lab on the “Buchanan Dog” was highly sought after. The personalized tongue tags, the crossbone motif, suede and herringbone wool sections all came together nicely to scream “Royale Fam”.
Limited Edt x Reebok Classic Leather
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Reebok Classic Leather, Limited Edt opted to represent the Year of the Snake by translating and applying snake skin to the classic silhouette.
Limited Edt x Vans Collection
This collection comprised two classic Vans silhouettes — the Sk8-Hi and Old Skool. Each was inspired by Vans’ skateboarding heritage as well as key architectural elements in Limited Edt’s LE Way boutique.
Limited Edt x Hypethetic x Reebok Instapump Fury
This sneaker represented the tenth of 27 Instapump Fury 20th anniversary collaborations. Featuring signature elements from Limited Edt and Hypethetic, the Singapore release came in an individually numbered holographic box, limited to 175 pairs.
Limited Edt x New Balance 577LEV
Limited Edt’s third and final collaboration on the New Balance M577 was a throwback to its first store at Queensway Shopping Centre. The M577LEV features a mix of nubuck leather and reflective panels. Royal blue and flash orange colors, reminiscent of Limited Edt Queensway’s interior décor and logo.
Limited Edt x Reebok Pump
Reebok Pump’s 25th anniversary saw several sneaker shops around the world put their spin on the classic basketball shoe, and Limited Edt’s take on it saw a bright color palette with shiny silver detailing.
SBTG x Kicks Lab x Thrasher “Decker”
This second collaboration between SBTG, Kicks Lab and Thrasher was a reflection of the friendship the three entities share. An absolute looker, it came with its military herringbone twill fabric and SBTG’s signature “Parsillia” camo pattern on the sides.
SBTG x mita sneakers x New Balance MRT580SM
SBTG’s collaboration with Japan’s Mita sneakers saw the design encompassing the theme “breaking down of barriers”, through its wire fence and wire cutter artwork on the insoles.
Limited Edt x adidas Consortium ZX Flux and Superstar 80v
Inspired by batik fabrics that are part of Singapore’s traditional attire, Limited Edt took it upon themselves to create a custom floral pattern that incorporated the orchid (Singapore’s National Flower), the adidas Trefoil logo and Limited Edt’s emblem.
Limited Edt x ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE III “Vanda”
With Singapore celebrating its 50th year of independence and ASICS Tiger commemorating the 25th anniversary of the GEL-LYTE III silhouette, it came as no surprise that a collaboration to establish both entities’ milestones would come to fruition. This floral sneaker took inspiration from the Vanda Miss Joaquim hybrid orchid.
Limited Edt x Jahan x Reebok Ventilator
For the Reebok Ventilator’s 25th Anniversary, Limited Edt joined forces with Jahan to give the iconic Ventilator a makeover.
Limited Edt x PUMA Blaze of Glory
Every inch of the Limited Edt x PUMA Blaze of Glory screamed “Singapore”, and it’s easy to see why. The uppers feature reflective 3D fish-scale graphics and faux pony hair, paying homage to the Merlion, a mythical creature that’s been one of Singapore’s longstanding icons.
SBTG x ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE V “Phys-Ed”
We gave this sneaker the “Best Collaboration of 2015” award, and with good reason. Not only was it SBTG’s first official collab with ASICS Tiger, but it featured the artist’s signature military aesthetics and even had a quilted toe box to boot!
SBTG x Mita sneakers x PUMA Clyde “First Contact”
The PUMA Clyde received the SBTG treatment, arriving in black and olive colors with camouflage on the uppers, custom insoles and a modified version of the original Clyde’s sole unit.
SBTG x Palladium
SBTG’s knack for military-inspired themes matched with Palladium’s aviation roots to create a collection of heritage boots that featured the former’s signature “Parsillia” camo pattern.
P.V.S. x New Balance 996 “9alactic 9irls 6rigade”
Singapore’s women’s-focused shop P.V.S (now-defunct) gave the New Balance 996 a makeover, proving that no sneaker was too masculine for the ladies. Code-named “9alactic 9irls’ 6rigade” (“Galactic Girls’ Brigade”), the sneaker paid homage to female empowerment and liberation, attributes that P.V.S firmly believes in.
Limited Edt x PUMA Disc Blaze “Chapter II & III”
This collection showcased Singapore’s momentous journey from port town to modern metropolis. Chapter II took inspiration from the founding of modern Singapore by the British, and its economic growth as a strategic port of call, while Chapter III represented Singapore as it stands today, a vibrant city that’s modern and sophisticated.
Limited Edt x Jahan x Puma “Future Past”
Limited Edt worked with Jahan to give the Puma Clyde and Blaze of Glory Limitless a space-exploration themed makeover. The sneakers represented the past and the future respectively and debuted alongside an exhibition of Jahan’s work that inspired the creation of the sneaker.
Limited Edt x Reebok Workout Lo Plus
Limited Edt created these eye-catching Reebok Workout Lo Plus drawing inspiration from Singapore’s unique cultural fabric, which is comprised of diverse ethnicities living in harmony. The upper of the sneaker is constructed out of a patchwork of materials bearing a variety of cultural prints. All the panels come in the same shade of blue to reflect the harmony in diversity that exists in Singapore’s society.
Limited Edt x Adidas Consortium Superstar
These luxurious Superstars were created in celebration of the 2017 reopening of Limited Edt Vault. The Limited Edt x Adidas Consortium Superstar is covered in burgundy and tan leather, giving off the vibe of a gentlemen’s club. To up the sophistication and flamboyance of the sneaker, the sides were blessed with batik-inspired embroidery.
Limited Edt x Asics Tiger Vanda “Kuro” Gel Lyte III and Vanda “Murasaki” Gel Lyte IV
The Vanda print from Limited Edt’s collaboration with Asics in 2015 returned in 2017 with two new iterations. The Limited Edt x Asics Tiger Vanda “Kuro” Gel Lyte III and Vanda “Murasaki” Gel Lyte IV carried the floral theme forward, but with a much darker palette.
SBTG x Limited Edt x Reebok Instapump Fury “Feline Fury”
For Limited Edt’s and SBTG’s first collaboration together and was a project that was three years in the making. The Limited Edt x SBTG x Reebok Instapump Fury uses SBTG’s signature Parsillia camouflage pattern alongside Pellegrini pony hair to replicate the majesty of a lion. A pair of these kicks were gifted to the sneaker’s creator Steven Smith.
Limited Edt x SBTG x Asics Gel Lyte III “Monsoon Patrol”
Limited Edt and SBTG joined forces to create these Gel Lyte IIIs to combat Singapore’s tropical weather. Born out of the discomfort of soggy shoes, the Limited Edt x SBTG x Asics Gel Lyte IIIs was given waterproof upgrades like a nylon toe box and tongue cover to keep your feet dry in a downpour. The overall design stayed true to SBTG’s military-inspired design style.
Limited Edt Vault x New Balance 574 Sport
To mark the tenth anniversary of the first collaboration between New Balance and Limited Edt, the duo released a modern remake of their decade-old 577. The Limited Edt x New Balance 574 Sport was given a luxurious makeover that mirrored the original sneaker. It got the same burgundy and black color scheme with gold accents seen on the original sneaker that released back in 2008.
SBTG x Staple Air Force 1 “Pigeon Fury”
The SBTG x Staple Air Force 1 set the internet ablaze. It was the perfect blend of a simple pigeon grey suede upper with a Swoosh drenched in SBTG’s signature painted camouflage. Its super limited drop—only 30 pairs were made—made it to the pages of every blog, Instagram and news site.
SBTG x Staple Dunk High “Pigeon Fury”
Following the popularity of their collaborative Air Force One, SBTG and Staple joined hands again to release a new Nike Dunk High with a near-identical construction. However, to play into the vintage trend, the sneaker was given a pre-aged yellow outsole and special faded laces from Foxtrot Uniform.
SBTG x Limited Edt x New Balance “Urban Islander” capsule
SBTG and Limited Edt came together once again to create the “Urban Islander” capsule with New Balance. The capsule offers two footwear models—the 327 and 900 sandal—and a selection of apparel and accessories.
Riot Games x SBTG Nike Air Force 1
In celebration of the launch of League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot Games got together with SBTG to create limited edition custom sneakers for selected gamers in their roster. The standout feature is the Swoosh on the Riot Games x SBTG Nike Air Force 1, which has been given the classic SBTG tiger camouflage treatment in the game’s official colors.
