Straat Your Stuff: Ilhan Steps Into His Father’s Sneakers

Six-year-old Ilhan, the son of Straat Your Stuff alum Danial Mok, is stepping into his father’s shoes. The third-generation sneakerhead (grandpa is also quite the collector) has rocked legendary kicks like the Off-White Air Max 90s, Travis Scott Air Max 1 and Clot Air Max 1 – all before entering primary school! Our youngest SYS interviewee tells us more about his collection and his quest for the “purple Concepts Air Max”.

I don’t know! I’ve got a lot!

What are your top three sneakers?
The shiny Air Jordan 1 in red and black color! ‘Cause they are my favorite color. Also the red and grey Dunk Low and the Air Max Plus!

Do your friends ask why you have so many shoes?
They don’t know that I have a lot of shoes. But I only wear three shoes to school, one white Cortez and two Revolution Five. One of them is maroon and blue!

What do you want to wear to primary school?
I want to wear a black Cortez. Ready to fly!
